Get Instant Facebook Notifications on Growl!

1. Start using notify.io
2. I'm pretty sure you have a Google account, take just your username (all the stuff before the @ symbol) and add that to "facebooksays.appspotmail.com". So, if your Gmail email address is "abimanyuraja@gmail.com", you should have "abimanyuraja@facebooksays.appspotmail.com".
3. Now, add this email to your Facebook account under Account Settings. Fill up the form as show below.

4. Login into notify.io with the same Google Account that you used to login here. Download and install the client if you haven't already.
5. Approve the application on the Pending Approvals sidebar (this might not be required for some people).
6. You should have received a notification that will have a URL to confirm this email. You can find it either in the History tab on notify.io or you should have received a growl notification.

7. Once your Facebook email is confirmed, that's it!

8. You'll start getting instant notify.io/Growl notifications.

9. Make a feature request to Facebook asking them to support notify.io natively. Or if you know someone at Facebook, buy them lunch. :)
